Shot between May and July 1999, this film is an entomological look at Bercy, more particularly the finance ministry and its minister (Dominique Strauss-Kahn at the time), in action in European circles. As politicians and technocrats, they use their style and their methods to serve the objectives of the government : to make the Euro a tool of growth and employment. And of course to justify it all to the French citizen. Histrionics, seduction, destabilization, manipulation, lobbying, ruses... The palette is varied and everyone, depending on the mandate and the post, finds a place in a choreography that can adapt to all situations.
