After the storms that hit France on December 26, 1999, the director met Dominique Aubier. This 80-year-old writer, a specialist in the myth of Don Quixote and Spain, considers herself a "modern initiate". She claims she can decipher reality and events. She uses a code that Cervantes is said to have concealed in his novel in order not to be persecuted by the Inquisition. This sacred knowledge, which comes from the Bible and the Kabbala, could, now more than ever, be used to read the signs intended for a humanity which has been destroying its planet out of materialism, a desire for profit and a naïve confidence in the power of technology.
