Composer for the theatre, the cinema (Johann Van der Keuken) and his own group, Willem Breuker has been inventing new musical forms for the past 25 years, and has made some hundred recordings. The Willem Breuker Kollektief does not only play music, it plays with music. Though his concerts defy definition and categorization, they provide the spectator with a unique and unforgettable experience. This film is a look back at 25 years of jazz, provocation and meditations on music today.
