Tragédie grecqueGreek Tragedy
Salonika, the late 90s. Eva Fotiadou is found dead, with a syringe buried in her body. A drug crime, a fatal overdose: the police stubbornly pursue this lead while Hélène Fotiadou, Eva's mother, proclaims that her daughter never took drugs but that she was murdered. She even produces the name of the killer, a small-time mafia figure. After having announced that she was ready to take justice into her own hands, Hélène decides to conduct her own investigation by passing herself off as a drug-addicted prostitute. Concealing a small tape recorder on her person, and backed by friends wielding a covert camera, Hélène infiltrates the milieu of Salonika's dealers and records testimony. But this evidence is not really legal — will it be of use? Finally, the heroine of this Greek tragedy manages to obtain the indictment of the presumed murderer.
