Tontaine et Tonton

A tale of sex and the personality cult. Two fortysomethings, who haven't been in touch since high school, run into one another, late one afternoon on the Place de la Bastille... For various reasons, neither has gotten laid in ages... In a cafe, they pick up a young woman. She's 25, pretty and sexy, but they are fairly good looking. They follow her. The girl's no slouch, she invites them home to dinner... As it turns out, she's a student preparing a thesis on François Mitterrand... In her apartment, she worships at the great man's altar. She's something of a kook: she knows Mitterrand's career like the back of her hand; she has books, tapes, interviews, poems. Each of the two men tries to seduce her... The young woman is sensitive, desirable and eager, but the figure of Mitterrand has taken over her mind. Nothing happens...
