Living Elsewhere
In 90s China, the consequences of economic development have been the rapid expansion of urban areas and the requisitioning of enormous quantities of former farming land, the massive migration of peasants to the cities and the struggle with the ever-burgeoning urban population over limited resources (living space, jobs, social recognition). Because of the intensification of the conflict, a way of life and thus a new cultural and living environment have been born.
