Jean Lescure, le poète et la couleur

Jean Lescure is a poet. He is now 87. His friends included many 20th century painters. He published his first volume of poetry in 1939. It was followed by a hundred other works, only nine of them volumes of poetry. The poet's reminiscences take us into the artistic milieu of the 20th century : the people he met, the things he saw, his impressions of his friends' works. Jean Lescure and Martine Lancelot came together in this enterprise through a world of signs : Jean's knowledge and graphic emotions, the thirst for learning and the awareness to passing time, time which passed for Martine... Linked by a thread of reciprocal freedom which allowed the poet to express himself about these painters who rendered his life more marvelous, we meet Gustave Singier, Jean Coulot, Raoul Ubac, Zao Wou-Ki, Maurice Estève, Léon Gischia, Zoran Music, Bruno Pulga and Aristide Caillaud.
