This television drama is about two brothers, Adri and Henri, whose lives are turned upside-down when Adri wins a photo model in a radio quiz. Diane, who is no spring chicken, comes to live with the bus driver siblings for one month during which Adri can do as he likes with her. Brother Henri is none too happy because Adri starts neglecting his work. When Diane behaves like a whore at a village wedding, Adri has to admit that his brother is right: the woman has to go. He abandons the desperate woman in the dark village, but the milkman's wife comes to her defense. She demands that Diane leaves in an honorable manner. But when the milkman dies, a controversial discovery ensures that Diane is to stay longer than expected.
