Déjate llevar
Get Carried Away is an attempt to portray a society which has ended up losing all interest in its own destiny, which no longer bothers to invest itself in its imaginary signifiers, its myths, representations or undertakings. The characters embody the kind of individuals who no longer wonder who they are following, where they are headed, who no longer ask questions about their plans or objectives. The story is set in an art museum where a number of masterpieces await their public. Luis, the guide, moves from room to room trying to convey the power of each painting. The groups follow meekly, of course paying close attention but never asking any question throughout the whole visit. At the end of the day, Luis locks up the museum and goes off. Once in the street, we discover Luis' real outlook on reality.
