In a village of narrow-minded inhabitants, a youngster named Wouter is both frightened and intrigued by the strange Mr Savijn. Mr Savijn lives under the heel of his two sisters and loves to appear naked, which earns him the ostracism of the villagers. Years later, during the war, Wouter, now an artist, runs into Mr Savijn in a city. Savijn sees, in this meeting, a chance of a lifetime: that of living out his fantasies by posing in the nude. Wouter accepts the idea and begins to cultivate an unwholesome game involving his new model, his girlfriend, a hunchback and two young girls.
