Carcasses et Crustacés
A cruise ship floats through the cold and rainy ocean. Sailing at maximun power, its elaborate dining room is in full swing: jazz orchestra, water, golden surroundings, aquariums and sophisticated food. Carefully chosen passengers eating lobsters, crabs, shrimps and monkfish. The large size of the tank does nothing to stop the tropical fish from turning round and round inside it. Their phlegmatic empty stare is oblivious to the carnage taking place on the other side of the glass: cut up fish, broken crustaceans, swallowed flesh. The atmosphere is cosy and elegant. Nevertheless, the hidden threat is present, slowly approaching, inevitable. The immense iceberg hits the ship that immediately starts to tip. Panic on board. Men scream and run around. The fish in the aquarium, on the other hand, swim about slowly, awaiting deliverance. However, the boat dips further and further and the water is running out of the tank…
