Bob le Magnifique
François Morin, a mild-mannered reporter for a small provincial newspaper, is in his late 30s. He is a dreamer who likes his quiet life, his wife, children and literature. If he settles for a dullish, badly-paid job, it's because he wants to have the time to finish his first novel, to which he's been putting the finishing touches for the past 11 years. Tired of bearing the brunt of responsibilities, his wife Christine walks out, taking their two children with her. François is forced to take action. It's up to Bob, François's imaginary alter ego since childhood, to motivate him. When he learns from Diane, a photographer colleague, that the paper's serial fiction writer is leaving, François sets out to convince his editor to give him the vacant post. Moreau gives him his chance: he has two days to write the first episode of a suspense serial. Suddenly, François's entire life is turned topsy-turvy...
