Belgrade dans la guerre
How do the Serbs respond to seeing their country proscribed? How do they see the war and how do they deal with the conflict on a daily basis? To answer these and other questions, the film crew spent two weeks in the Serbian capital. A fortnight during which the HQ of Milosevic's party, then the state television station and the Yugoslav army headquarters were destroyed by NATO missiles. Our encounters include: a Serbian TV employee in charge of conceiving anti-Western propaganda clips; young reservists who are soon be called up; and the inhabitants of one of the most vulnerable districts in the city, with whom was spent a night during an air raid alert. All these people talk about what they see as an injustice, even as they refuse to recognize the injustice being perpetrated against the Kosovars.
