(France) France Televisions and The Michel Mitrani Prize

Every year, the Festival international de programmes audiovisuels presents and showcases a great many creative programs. This meeting point is essential for the dynamism and the cultural diversity of television production.

For this new edition, the France Televisions group is proud to associate with the Fipa to underwrite and present the Michel Mitrani Prize, which honors a first, second or third French-produced program, all genres and formats included: drama, series, documentaries, etc.

This award perpetuates the spirit of broadmindedness and eclecticism that characterized Michel Mitrani, the committed and passionate director who founded the Fipa in 1987.

It is this same spirit of discovery that France Televisions seeks to share as widely as possibly, through the programs aired by its channels, but also in the many sponsorship operations that link it to the world of Art and Culture.

With some one million euros invested daily in drama, documentaries, animation and performing arts, France Televisions is more than ever the premier sponsor of creative television in France.

This vital support contributes to the flowering of talent and allows the audiovisual sector to demonstrate its resounding vitality.
