Since 2002, in partnership with the Bordeaux Rectorat, the Fipa has hosted several "Passport Classes" - a one-day programme dedicated to the schools affiliated with the Bordeaux Academy.

France 5 Master class: L'Aventurière, a new approach to television writing
Thursday, January 25 at 10 a.m. at the Colisée

L’Aventurière is the first fictional series to blend archive footage and cartoon drawings. Written by Alain Wieder, directed by Jean-Claude Guidicelli and produced by Maurice Ribière, the series is original in its multitude of sources for the archive images used. France 5 and the Fipa have decided to use the series in order to arrange for teachers and students a special showing of the first 16 minutes of the series along with a question and answer session organized around the theme of image understanding and Speakers: Maurice Ribière (Cie des Taxi-Brousse), Barbara Hurel, Carole Fay-Keller and Cécile Cauchy (France 5), Marguerite Cros (Clémi).

Round table on media education: How to make education and television agree?

Using the Fipa’s educational efforts as a springboard to further analysis, a debate about the integration of media education into the various programmes put in place by the French Ministry of Education, including training programmes designed for different levels of education.

A talk with Rémy Grumbach
Friday, January 26 at 2 p.m. at the Colisée

Rémy Grumbach, winner of the Sacem Grand Prize in 2006 for best writer, film and video director, director of the magnificent portrait of Maurice Jarre in 1998, talks about his two passions - music and television. He will describe and comment on the state of the different genres and formats for television (films, series, documentaries, debates and filmed theatre), underlining how technology is transforming today’s productions.
